Meet your Mentors!

The eXtraordinarY eXperiences program is designed and led by role models* who have lived experience of chromodiversity and neurodiversity. We offer a safe and nurturing environment for children to explore their strengths, build resilience, and connect with peers who share similar experiences.

Brock Vestrum
Dir. of Experiences & VP Operations

Brock was born with an extra X chromosome. Overcoming challenges like shyness and coordination issues, he excelled academically, demonstrating his resilience and determination.
 

With over 15 years in healthcare, Brock is dedicated to supporting others on their journeys. He holds an MBA in Organizational Leadership and is a motivational speaker and advocate for mental health and chromodiversity.
 

At camp, Brock shares his personal story, inspiring participants to embrace their unique strengths.

Lidia Grzybacz
Mentor, X & Y Researcher

Lidia Grzybacz is a dedicated healthcare professional with a passion for promoting health and wellness in children and their families. With a background in pediatric behavioral health/genetics, she believes in a comprehensive approach to healthcare that integrates physical, emotional, and social well-being.

 

Outside of her professional work, Lidia enjoys hiking, skiing, yoga, and cooking nutritious meals that celebrate diverse cuisines. 

 

At camp, Lidia inspires young minds to explore the intersections of health, culture, and community through hands-on experience.

Ulysse Polak
Mentor & Dir. of Product

Ulysse has a unique perspective from growing up with a neurodivergent fraternal twin brother with an extra X chromosome. 

 

Raised in a multicultural family across France, the UK, and the US, Ulysse brings a worldly outlook to the team. Ulysses journey through chronic illness has deepened his understanding of wellness, healthcare, and the challenges they present.

 

He is a keen advocate for physical activity and its positive effects on emotional well-being, and is passionate about nature, travel and videography.

Driven by her passion for helping children with neuro and chromodiversity, Nina is dedicated to making a meaningful impact on their lives. Her own experience with ADHD has fueled her diverse career path.

 

With a degree in Psychology from the University of Birmingham, a top UK research institute, Nina understands the lifelong impacts of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs).

 

At camp, Nina inspires participants to embrace their creativity and unique strengths. She loves discussing baseball, playing the ukulele, and travelling.

*Not all mentors listed on our website will be present at every camp due to location and scheduling conflict. However, we ensure that each camp will have a qualified and diverse group of mentors to provide a valuable and enriching experience for all participants

Our program relies on contributions; all proceeds go to charity to support underserved children. The My XXY | Chromodiversity™ Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to helping children and adults with genetic differences thrive.

This is the first program of its kind in the United States.
