At Chromodiversity, we pride ourselves on being inclusive, supportive, and trustworthy. As we developed the ChromoCompass™ Tool, we listened to parents who expressed that the most important aspects for their children are social connections and a sense of belonging. Through eXtraordinarY eXperiences, we offer a series of day camps and events where children can participate in a range of activities while discovering their strengths.
Each eXperience provides exciting challenges, opportunities to connect with mentors who have lived experience in chromodiversity and neurodiversity. Most importantly, kids build meaningful connections with peers who share similar backgrounds.
Lurie Children’s KidS Camp
Our eXtraordinarY eXperiences program is an extension of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago’s KidS Camp, the world’s first research initiative of its kind focused on promoting physical activity and self-confidence in children with XXY. We proudly partner with Lurie Children’s by providing lived experience mentorship for their fun and engaging day camps.
